Integrations
Connect analytics, ad, content and communication tools to Opttab in Settings › Integrations, and give the AI assistant tools from your own MCP servers.
Integrations bring data from your other tools into Opttab, and let Opttab send content and updates back out. You manage them in Settings › Integrations.

Connect a provider
Pick the card
In Settings › Integrations, click Connect on the provider's card.
Sign in at the provider
Click Continue with {provider}. You are sent to the provider to review and allow access. Some providers also offer a fallback, such as Use an API key instead or Use an access token instead.
Choose what to share
Back in Opttab, choose the sites, properties or accounts to use, then click Save resources.
Check the card
The card shows Connected and a Manage button.
Log-stream providers (Vercel, Akamai, Netlify) use a Setup step with instructions and values to copy. See Connect a crawler log source.
Manage a connection
Each connection row has:
- Verify: checks the connection now and refreshes its status.
- Resources: changes the sites, properties or accounts in use.
- Reconnect: signs in again, for example after a password change.
- Disconnect: removes the connection and deletes the stored credential.
- Send test message (Slack only): posts a test message to the chosen channel.
Connection status
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Healthy | The last call to the provider worked. | Nothing. |
| Needs re-authorisation | The provider wants you to sign in again. | Click Reconnect. |
| Revoked | Access was removed at the provider. | Click Reconnect, or disconnect. |
| Error | The last call failed. | Click Verify. If it stays, reconnect. |
The status updates the next time Opttab calls the provider. Click Verify to refresh it now.
"Not available" providers
A card that shows Not available ("Not available on this deployment yet.") cannot be connected yet. Opttab has not enabled that provider for your environment. You do not need to change anything on your side. See My integration shows Not available.
If the page shows "No providers available", no integrations are enabled yet. Contact support.
Plan gating
Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Shopify, WordPress, Cloudflare, Slack and the Vercel, Akamai and Netlify log streams are part of every plan. If your plan does not include a connector, Connect is refused with "This needs {requirement}". See Plans and billing.
Custom MCP servers
Lower on the same page, Custom MCP servers lets you "Give the agent tools from outside Opttab." The AI assistant can then call tools from an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server you run or use.
Add the server
Click Connect server. In Connect an MCP server, enter a Name and the Server URL. It must be a public https address. Opttab contacts it before saving.
Choose authentication
Pick No credential, Header credential (a scheme and a secret), or Sign in at the server (OAuth), with an optional client ID and secret.
Choose who gets it
Under Available to, pick all workspaces or one workspace.
Switch tools on
New tools arrive switched off. Turn on Enabled for each tool the assistant may use. Turn on Trusted for reads to let a read tool run without asking you each time.
If a tool's description changes on the server, Opttab pauses it and shows "Changed since approved". Review it and click Approve again.
Server statuses: Healthy, Sign-in needed, Unreachable, Error. Only owners and admins connect servers; members see "An owner or admin can connect one."
