Content Studio
Create researched, source-checked articles for the topics where AI answers cite others, then edit them and publish to your Shopify store.
Content Studio is where you write articles that help you get cited in AI answers. Opttab researches the topic, checks every point against a source, writes the draft and scores it. You review, edit and publish it to your Shopify store.
Open Content Studio in the sidebar. You land on Your Content.
Everyone in the workspace can view Content Studio. Owners, Admins and Members with full access can create content, import articles and publish. Each article you generate uses one content generation; how many you get depends on your plan. See Plans and billing.
How it works
- Start from a content gap: a topic where AI answers cite other sites instead of you. These are the same gaps behind the Content category in Opportunities. You can also start from scratch.
- The Create wizard starts a run. You can watch its live progress or leave the page.
- The finished draft opens in the editor and appears in Your Content.
- You edit and publish it to your Shopify store.
- Published articles appear in Calendar and History.
Your Content
Your Content is your article library. It holds both the articles Opttab generated and the blog posts imported from your own website.
In progress
Runs that haven't become a draft yet are listed under In progress.
- A row shows "Waiting to start…", "Stopped: reason" or "Stopped before it finished".
- Press View progress to open the live progress page.
- Press Retry on a stopped run to start it again. A retry uses another content generation.
- The list refreshes itself while a run is working.
Closing the page never loses a run. It keeps going, and you can find it here.
Blog Posts
The Blog Posts table shows Cover, Title, Improvements, GEO Score and Open.
- GEO Score is the article's content quality score from 0 to 100, from Opttab's review checklist. It's a quality summary, not a prediction of how you'll rank.
- Improvements is the number of open suggestions for the article.
- A cover with no image shows the title's initials in your brand colour.
Import articles from your website
Opttab imports blog posts from your own website, so you can score and improve them too. Imported articles carry the badge From your website.
- Opttab finds articles through your sitemap and keeps the 5 newest blog posts.
- While it works, you see "Looking for articles on your website…" and then "Importing your articles… written of total".
- Press Refresh from website to pick up changes. It updates changed articles, keeps your edits, and never creates duplicates.

Calendar and History
Both views show published articles only.
