Workspace and accountPlans and billing

Plans and billing

Choose a plan, manage your subscription, billing details and invoices, and upgrade, downgrade or cancel.

Your Opttab account has one plan. It sets which features you can use and how much you can track, shared across all your workspaces. You manage it in Settings › Billing.

Only the owner can pay, change or cancel the plan and edit billing details. Admins can view billing. Members can't see it. See Team and roles.

Plans

Opttab has two families of plans. Your account type decides which you see.

ForPlans
BrandsLite, Starter, Growth, Enterprise
AgenciesAgency Starter, Agency Growth, Agency Scale, Agency Enterprise

You can pay monthly or yearly. Prices are in EUR, and VAT is added at checkout from your billing details. Enterprise plans are quoted: click Request a Quote or contact sales. For current prices, limits and trials, see pricing.

What your plan decides

KindExamples
How many you can haveWorkspaces, topics, prompts, seats (people plus pending invitations), API keys, and how far back analytics history goes.
Monthly allowancesAI answers collected, content generations, demand analyses and chat credits. These reset each usage month, which starts on your subscription day.
What's includedWhich AI engines are tracked, how often prompts can run (Daily, Weekly or Monthly), and which integrations you can connect.
FeaturesModules such as Website Analytics, Shopping Insights, Ad Studio, Chat and the Agent, plus advanced reporting exports.

Chat and the Agent are available on Enterprise plans. When a page isn't in your plan, it says so and shows which plan includes it.

When you reach a limit

  • Opttab blocks the action and explains the limit, for example when you add a prompt.
  • If the monthly allowance for AI answers runs out, scheduled tracking pauses until the next usage month.
  • The owner gets an email at 80% and 100% of a monthly allowance.
  • Anything you already have above a limit, for example after a downgrade, becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted.

The Billing page

Open Settings › Billing, or Billing in the account menu.

Upgrade

Open Change Your Plan

On Current plan, click Manage plan.

Pick a higher plan

Choose a higher plan, or switch from monthly to yearly.

Confirm

The dialog shows what you pay now for the rest of this period and what you pay from your next renewal. Click Confirm upgrade. Your saved card is charged.

During a trial, the plan switches at once with no charge. Moving from monthly to yearly starts a new yearly period.

Downgrade

You can schedule a lower plan, or a switch from yearly to monthly, in the last 7 days before your next bill. Earlier, the page tells you the date from which you can schedule it.

  1. In Change Your Plan, click Downgrade on the lower plan.
  2. For each limit that shrinks, pick what to keep, for example which workspaces and prompts. The owner always keeps a seat.
  3. Click Schedule downgrade. Nothing is charged now. Your current plan stays until the next bill, and you get a confirmation email.

Anything you don't keep, or add after scheduling, becomes read-only when the new plan starts. Changed your mind? Click Cancel downgrade.

Cancel

Start

On Current plan, click Cancel subscription.

Tell us why

Choose a reason, then click Next.

Consider an offer

You may see a discount to stay, or to switch to yearly. Click Accept this offer or Switch to yearly to stay, or Decline offer to continue. An accepted offer applies from your next renewal.

Confirm

Review what you lose, then click Confirm and cancel.

Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. If you cancel during a trial, the trial ends at once and you aren't charged. To change your mind, click Resume subscription any time before the period ends.

Subscription lifecycle

  • Trial: the full plan until the trial ends. Opttab emails you 3 days before, then charges your card.
  • Active: renews every month or year. You get a receipt by email.
  • Canceling: works until the period ends, then becomes Expired.
  • Suspended or Expired: the app asks you to choose a plan to continue. Your workspaces, prompts and history are kept.

Payment due

If a renewal payment fails, the plan shows Payment due. You keep access, Opttab retries your card, and you get an email. Owners and admins also see a banner: "Your last payment failed". Update your card from Go to billing.

If the payment still fails after a short grace period, the plan is suspended until you choose a plan again.
