Find your way around
A tour of the Opttab app shell, from sidebar modes and the workspace switcher to search, help and the account menu.
Every Opttab page shares the same frame: a sidebar on the left, a page header at the top, and the page itself. This page explains each part.
How it fits together
Sidebar modes
Tabs at the top of the sidebar switch what it shows.

| Home | The main navigation: Dashboard, Prompts, Analytics, Optimize, Content Studio and Ads. Items with an arrow open a sub-menu. What's new, Support and Settings sit at the bottom. |
| Chat | New Chat, Skills, Recents, Search Conversations and your Chat Usage. |
| Agent | Pages to set up and run your AI shopping agent, if your plan includes it. |
| Activity | A live feed of new answers, findings and competitors as they arrive. |
You can collapse the sidebar with Collapse sidebar and bring it back with Expand sidebar.
Workspace switcher
The switcher at the top of the sidebar shows the workspace you're in. Click it to:
- Switch to another workspace (agency accounts say Your clients).
- Invite Members: opens
Settings › Team. - Workspace Settings (agency: Client Workspace Settings).
- Add Workspace (agency: Add Client).
Everything you see, from the dashboard to prompts, belongs to the active workspace. See Workspaces.
Setup checklist
In Home mode, a card at the bottom of the sidebar tracks four setup steps for the active workspace. Click Complete Setup, then Continue setup to jump to the next open step.

| Add your competitors | The workspace tracks at least one competitor. |
| Add your topics & prompts | The workspace has at least one topic. |
| Set up site connections | Both Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console are connected. |
| Complete store connection | Shopify or WordPress is connected. |
When all four are done, the card is replaced by an upgrade card if a higher plan is available. You can dismiss it.
Learn and the Learning Center
The Learn button (graduation cap) is at the top right of every page header. It opens the Opttab Learning Center:
- Get started: the same four setup steps, with an Open link for each step still to do.
- Video tutorials: short videos, filtered by area.
- Slack Community and Documentation: open in a new tab.
What's new
Click What's new in the sidebar to see recent product updates. See the full changelog opens the Changelog.
Support
Click Support in the sidebar or the account menu to chat with the Opttab team. If the chat can't open, email info@opttab.com. For billing questions, email billing@opttab.com.
Search and the command bar
Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows), or click Search in the sidebar. Type to find pages and actions.
- Pages: Dashboard and its tabs, Prompts, Analytics, Chat, Skills and every Settings section.
- Actions: New prompt, Generate prompts, Invite colleagues (owners and admins), My profile, Workspace settings, New workspace and Take the page tour.
Use the arrow keys to move, Enter to open and Esc to close. Search covers pages and actions, not your prompts or competitors.
Account menu
Click your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar for Brand Hub, Team, Page tour (on pages that have a tour), Documentation, Language, Billing, Support, Settings and Sign out.
Under Language you can switch the app to English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch or Polish.
Payment banner
If a renewal payment fails, owners and admins see a banner across the app: "Your last payment failed". Opttab retries your card, and you keep access in the meantime. Click Go to billing to update your payment details. See Plans and billing.
