Workspace and accountWorkspaces

Workspaces

Add, switch, edit and delete workspaces, one for each brand or client you track.

A workspace is one brand you track. It has its own brand profile, competitors, topics, prompts and connections. Agency accounts call workspaces clients.

Owners and admins can add, edit and delete workspaces. Members see the list read-only. How many workspaces you can have depends on your plan, and the limit is shared across the account. See pricing.

How it works

Your first workspace is created during onboarding. Every limit on your plan (prompts, topics and so on) is shared by all your workspaces.

Switch workspace

Click the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar, then click the workspace you want. The page reloads its data for that workspace.

Add a workspace or client

Start the wizard

Click Add Workspace (agency: Add Client) in the workspace switcher, or in Settings › General.

Describe the brand

Go through the same steps as onboarding: brand or client setup, Profile, Target market, Competitors, Topics and Prompts. Opttab drafts each step from the website.

Create it

Click Create Workspace. Opttab shows "Creating your workspace…" while it sets up the brand profile, competitors, topics and prompts.

To stop, click Discard.

If you see Workspace limit reached, your plan has no room for another workspace. Click Change plan to upgrade, or delete a workspace you no longer need. See Plans and billing.

Edit a workspace

Open the workspace

Go to Settings › General. In the Workspaces table, click Edit workspace on the row you want.

Change the details

Update any of these:

  • Workspace Name
  • Company logo: PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP, up to 5 MB. Crop it to a square, then click Save logo.
  • Brand color: pick a swatch or Custom.

Save

Save your changes. You see "Workspace saved".

The Usage column in the table shows how many of the account's prompts each workspace uses.

Brand details such as the description, competitors and audiences live in Brand Hub. Topics and prompts live in Prompts.

Delete a workspace

Deleting a workspace permanently removes its topics, prompts, competitors and all collected answers. This cannot be undone.
  1. Switch to a different workspace first. You can't delete the one you're in.
  2. Open the workspace in Settings › General and click Delete Workspace.
  3. Confirm in the Delete …? dialog.
