My setup checklist step is still open
Why a setup checklist step stays open after you connected a tool.
Each step in the sidebar setup checklist has a specific rule. A step stays open until that rule is met for the active workspace.
| Step | Done when |
|---|---|
| Add your competitors | At least one competitor is tracked. |
| Add your topics & prompts | At least one topic exists. |
| Set up site connections | Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console are both connected. |
| Complete store connection | Shopify or WordPress is connected. |
Common causes
- You connected only Google Analytics 4. Set up site connections also needs Google Search Console. Connect it from the dashboard Connections tab.
- You're in a different workspace. Connections belong to one workspace. Check the workspace switcher.
- You're not an owner or admin. Only owners and admins can connect tools. Members see "An owner or admin connects tools."
