I lost my API key secret
How to replace an Opttab API key whose secret you no longer have.
Opttab shows an API key's secret only once, when you create it. It cannot be shown again, by you or by support. Replace the key instead.
Create a new key
In Settings › API, click Create API Key. Use the same Workspace and Scopes as the old key. See API keys.
Copy and store the secret
On Copy your API key, click Copy key and save it in a password or secrets manager.
Update your tool
Replace the old secret in your scripts or integrations, and check that calls work.
Revoke the old key
Click Delete on the old key, then Revoke key. It stops working at once.
Only account owners and admins can create and revoke keys.
