Why don't I see a competitor?
Reasons a competitor is missing from the Leaderboard or shows a dash, and how to add it.
Opttab only ranks the competitors you track. Check these in order.
Is it tracked?
Open Brand Hub and look under Competitors. If it's not there, add it in Brand Hub, or from Dashboard › Leaderboard › Manage. You need to be an Owner or Admin.
Was it added recently?
Competitors are measured from the next run. Past answers aren't re-scored, so a new competitor shows "—" (not measured) until fresh answers come in.
Has it been mentioned yet?
A competitor with no mentions in the period may not appear in some lists. Try a longer period.
Is it a discovered brand?
Brands that AI answers name but you don't track are Discovered. You'll find them on the prompt detail page under Overview › Competition › Discovered, and in Dashboard Actions. Click Track as competitor to start tracking.
