My crawler data is empty

What to check when the Crawlers tab in Website Analytics shows no AI crawler data.

If the Crawlers tab in Website Analytics shows no data, work through these checks in order.

Check that a source is connected

If you see Connect a Crawler Log Source to See Crawler Analytics, no source is connected yet. Follow Connect a crawler log source. You need the Owner or Admin role.

Check your plan

If the tab says "Your plan doesn't include Crawler Analytics, so its figures show once you upgrade.", upgrade in Plans and billing.

Read the health badge

For Vercel, Akamai or Netlify, open Settings › Integrations, press Setup on the source, then Refresh.

  • Waiting for the first logs: nothing has arrived. Akamai can take about an hour to start. Vercel and Netlify send logs on the first request. Check the endpoint and secret were pasted exactly and the stream or drain is active.
  • User-Agent logging is off: on Akamai, turn on Log Request Details › Log User-Agent Header and activate the property. On Netlify, turn Exclude PII off.
  • No logs since …: check the stream is still active and points at the endpoint shown.

Look for a needs attention banner

A banner such as "Vercel needs attention" means the connection is unhealthy or doesn't match this website. Press Reconnect, or pick the right zone, project or website in Settings › Integrations.

Widen the period

"No tracked traffic in this window yet." means no AI crawler visited in that period. Try Last 30 days. Days near today may still be filling in — crawler figures are final after one day.

Opttab keeps only requests from recognised AI crawlers. Ordinary visitor traffic is discarded by design, so logs can arrive while the tab stays empty.

Still no live bots?

Active Bots on the Realtime tab needs Cloudflare. Vercel, Akamai and Netlify logs arrive in batches and show "Not supported by any source." there.
