Your Opttab account controls your profile, security settings, subscription, and data. From the account settings page you can update personal details, manage your plan, and control what happens to your data — all in one place.

Accessing account settings

To open your account settings:
  1. Click the Opttab extension icon in your browser toolbar.
  2. Click your avatar or name in the top-right corner of the panel.
  3. Select Account Settings from the menu.
Opttab opens the settings page in a new browser tab.

Updating your profile

In the Profile section, you can change your display name and the email address associated with your account. If you update your email address, Opttab sends a verification link to the new address. Your email does not change until you click that link.

Changing your password

Open Account Settings

Navigate to Account Settings using the steps above.

Go to Security

Click the Security tab in the left sidebar.

Start the password change

Click Change Password.

Enter your current password

Type your existing password in the Current Password field.

Enter a new password

Type your new password, then type it again in the Confirm New Password field.

Save

Click Save to apply the change.
If you signed up with Google, you authenticate through Google and do not have a separate Opttab password. Use your Google account settings to manage your credentials.

Subscription and billing

The Subscription section shows:
  • Your current plan (Free or Pro)
  • Your next billing date
  • The payment method on file
Click Upgrade to move to the Pro plan. Click Manage Billing to update your payment details or download past invoices. The Pro plan includes:
  • Unlimited workspaces
  • Cross-device sync
  • History search
  • Priority support

Signing out

To sign out, click your avatar in the Opttab panel and select Sign Out. Your local workspaces remain saved on this device. Any data that was synced to the cloud is still available the next time you sign in.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account permanently removes all your workspaces, settings, and data. This action cannot be undone.
To delete your account:

Open Account Settings

Navigate to Account Settings using the steps above.

Go to Danger Zone

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Danger Zone.

Initiate deletion

Click Delete Account.

Confirm your identity

Type your email address in the confirmation field.

Confirm deletion

Click Delete to permanently delete your account.
