My workspaces aren't syncing across devices
- Confirm you’re signed in to the same account on both devices. Open the Opttab panel and check the account avatar to verify the signed-in email address.
- Check your internet connection. Sync requires an active connection on both devices.
- Verify that sync is enabled. Go to Settings → Account and confirm the sync toggle is on.
- Force a manual sync. Go to Settings → Account → click Sync Now.
- Sign out and sign back in on the affected device to force a fresh sync from the server.
Cross-device sync requires a Pro plan. If you’re on the Free plan, workspaces are stored locally only.

- Another extension or application may be claiming the same shortcut. Try clicking the Opttab icon first to bring the panel into focus, then use the shortcut.

- Restart the browser and try the shortcut again.

- Enable tab suspension. Go to Settings → Preferences → Tab Suspension and set a shorter inactivity timeout so unused tabs are suspended automatically.
- Archive tabs you no longer need. Large workspaces with many active tabs use more memory. Archive tabs you’re not actively using to reduce the footprint.
- Check other extensions. Open your browser’s task manager to see if a different extension is the primary memory consumer.
